As Founder and Chairman of Bruce Henderson Architects, Bruce has a sound understanding of all aspects of business and professional operations. He has a well-respected profile within the professional business community and the property industry for his rare understanding of property as an investment in its relationship to the economy.

Bruce established BHA in 1977 as a specialist commercial architecture practice and, under his governance, it has since grown to become a highly diversified design company active in both public and private sectors. The practice has built an enviable wealth of experience in all aspects of building design, planning and development for private, corporate, institutional, governmental, national and international client organisations.

BHA has a long history of being the developer and builder’s architect of choice within a competitive and demanding marketplace. Bruce was previously the Chairman of Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, a coeducational facility located in the north western suburbs of Melbourne, where he has been a board member since 1998.
